Martin D-16 Special Rosewood G/C, NEW LOWER PRICE
This is the full dreadnought depth 16 Rosewood Special. It is virtually the same guitar as an HD-28 except with simpler trimming. It has the same Sitka spruce top, Indian Rosewood back and sides, Ebony fretboard and bridge, and exact same bracing.
It's in like new condition with no dings or scratches. It comes with a Fishman Matrix Advance dual pickup system. And it comes with a hard shell case instead of a gig bag like the new ones do. An HD-28e with a similar pickup will cost $3800. This one new is $1900. Mine is one your old, in perfect condition including the hardshell case. It will cost you $1300 or best offer. I'm on Long Island in Plainview, and if you want to come out by train, I can meet you at the Hicksville train station or I can meet in the Catskills or Hudson Valley More pics available on request. Any questions answered promptly Here is the page from Guitar Center for the guitar; https://www.guitarcenter.com/Martin/...00000317260.gc Last edited by lowrider; 05-25-2024 at 01:08 PM. |

Are you shipping this instrument, or 'pickup only'?

It's local and "pick up only"...that will certainly cross off a lot of potential buyers. It will find a home eventually.

I don't have to hurry to sell this. I'm still enjoying it but I now have 7 Martin guitars. Three of them are dreads and I have a Custom Shop Grand Jumbo 28 coming in September.
5 guitars is the perfect number for me. I have to sell this one and my 1979 D-35 to get me to 5 and then when the GJ-28 arrives I'll still have a manageable number that all get played. Make me an offer, I just need to make room. |
