Identify this parlor guitar

Any idea what this could be? Any indications of age, brand, etc from these photos? It’s a very pretty little parlor that’s for sure!

It doesnt look that old. The trussrod adjustment inside the sound hole gives that away. Looks almost like a Import Washburn.

I was similarly wondering about age. The design is 19th Century, but the guitar looks too new, and it appears to have a modern truss rod If it’s a newer Washburn, I think there should be a stamp on an inside brace.

That's a recent factory made guitar almost certainly built in Asia.

Not Washburn
Have no idea but looks like something from the late 70's early 80's, but can say that it does NOT come from the Washburn family nor Oscar Schmidt.
For that price I would have bought it. |

I've seen photos of very similar instruments on eBay recently--all Chinese factory items.

Pretty pathetic that you can’t gather ginseng out of season off your own property or sell ivory from a salvaged piano but customs has no problems letting forged guitars being imported into the country.

What exactly is it a forgery of?

It's not a forgery of anything. Just a cheap modern guitar designed in the style of a vintage parlor guitar.
