Default NGD Eastman E1D cla

GAS hit hard and I easily convinced myself that a new dread was needed.
Received delivery shortly after noontime.
Unpacked it,inspected it….seemed fine.
Played it for 20 or so minutes then had to go out for a bit.
Got back and played it for an hour…

To make a short story long I’m impressed.

I played one of those at our local Eastman dealer today and was impressed. So I’m glad to hear you’re happy with yours.

I played the E1D a couple of weeks ago at a local shop. I really liked the way it sounded and the way it played--congratulations.

I love my E1D. I play it more than my E10D, which is also a fine guitar. I stumbled onto a lefty E2D that I need like a hole in the head, probably one of their last lefties for the foreseeable future, and snagged it. I’m out of town and won’t get to unbox it till next weekend, but I’m excited.

Someday maybe I’ll run across a D18 I just can’t live without, but Eastman makes a heck of a guitar and I’m really enjoying mine.

Congrats! Eastman makers great guitars, across the line, but those open pore finished 1’s and 2’s will surprise you. Fantastic tone! Hope you continue to enjoy yours!

I have an E1OM that's really loud for it's size. Nice guitar for the price.

I recently got an Eastman AC522CE and I love it.
Sounds great, well made and the burst is quite a looker
Enjoy yours for a long time

I’m really enjoying it!

Not sure what strings came on it.
Anyone using medium gauge on these?

I tried John Pearce mediums on my E1D for 3 months and liked the change. But have stuck with lights since.
Had mine for two and a half years now and love it.
May go with mediums next time for another change. They're good for toughening up the fingers, but I usually end up back on the lights mostly.

I just got an E1SS LTD last week. My first experience with Eastman. Super impressed. I can't keep my hands of the thing. I'm sure your dread is equally impressive. Congratulations!
