Default Taylor ES-Go for GS Mini, known issues?

I am thinking about getting the ES-Go for my Mini.
I have heard that that pickup can have a bad hum.
I have even read some consider it a design flaw.
Anyone have one on their Mini?
Any issues with it?

For about the same money you could get a JJB under bridge tranceducer.

My Mini (bought s/h years ago) came with the ES Go and I switched it for the JJB (a K&K mini clone) which is more discrete and "probably" sounds better....

Still got the ES Go in a drawer somewhere, been meaning to put it on EBay...

I bought a used GS Mini that came with ES Go installed. It was an OK pickup, but not stellar. It went with that guitar when it sold, to a local petite teenage girl who had begun performing and needed a small affordable guitar with a pickup.

It is not a humbucker design, as I recall, so it is vulnerable to electrical hum. Its main advantage is the ease of installation. Personally I think you can do better.
