Are StewMac Bind-All and Luthiers Mercantile FCA the same thing

I've got a tricky binding job that combines plastic binding and wooden purfling on the horizon, so I've been reading about binding glues. I've read nothing but good stuff about Luthier's Mercantile's FCA glue. Now I see StewMac has an offering called Bind-All that has a very similar description. Does anyone know if they're the same thing?

I expect so, since StewMac's description reads:

"Bind-ALL is the same glue used by major manufacturers. StewMac is the only place you can get it in a handy dandy squeezable tube (it’s usually sold in glass jars or cans to be brushed on, which gets messy real fast)."


I wouldn't count on it for wood binding - it's a plastic cement.

Hmmmm..... The reason I want to use it is because LMII's description says "This product was developed using it in combination with 14 different woods and 28 different plastics and it worked well with all"

My joint is wood-wood and wood-plastic, so I was really looking for adhesion among the disparate materials.
