Have you heard the album MK released last month? I’ve only heard the title song, as it is getting some airplay on satellite radio. It’s a nice tune, too—One Deep River.
Hi Bob,

Thank you!

I'm glad you could identify with the old rock & roll music I was referring to in my OP. Pre-Beatles feel and Everly Bros is right in line with my thinking, too! Thanks for your kind words, Bob!

I have heard the new MK ("One Deep River") CD; in fact, I bought it and have listened through three times as I have been working out on my 40-year-old Nordic Track machine. I like the album.

There is a song on the album called "Tunnel 13" about where the famous redwood comes from in the Siskiyou Mountains. I thought that song might really appeal to AGF listeners and it's a very cool song. There are, I think, a fair number of really good songs on that album.

So maybe I will figure out how to play that song and record it. It would be fun.

I hope all is well for you, Bob. Thanks for taking time to comment!

Cool, I'll check out the song and album, and hope you get a chance to work it up

Hi John!

Thank you for noticing and for your kind comments!

I have a list of about 5 Mark Knopfler songs I'd like to cover. He's such a great storyteller and such a terrific guitar player. I learn something new every time I take on a new MK recording project.

I hope all is well for you, John.

That's just beautiful, Glenn. I love that old-sounding stuff. I could listen to The Everly Brothers, Elvis, Roy Orbison, Carl Perkins, Buddy Holly, etc. all day long. Thanks for the great performance all-around--excellent taste as always--Tim.

Hi Tim!

Yes, I love the music from all those old performers, too. You just listed a whole bunch of early music makers that had a great influence on me.

And I just enjoyed your latest post here in S&T. Very cool!

I hope all is well for you!

Glenn, you really dress this place up. You make it look easy to strum and croon with such a laid-back but steady vibe.

I always enjoy your work.
