I'm regularly taking it on business trips.

Can be crammed into a medium size suitcase, and fits into any travel bag with the neck sticking out.
I never had a problem to get it onto a plane in the hand baggage either.

Sufficiently low-priced (but great value) that it does not hurt too much if at some point it breaks or gets lost (but has stood up to much abuse so far).

Not a sound for playing to an audience, unless you compensate with great technique, but great for noodling in the hotel room.
