Thanks Glennwillow, I enjoyed that. Toby Walker is a hell of a good player.

Haha, I'll check my spam folder again! I enjoyed listening to the clip you directed me too. Very cool! Great site. I ordered your book today and I'm looking forward to reading it.

I love that guitar! It's the best LG-2 I've played. We used it on the CD that I produced as a companion to my book. You can hear that song here on Guitarkadia's story about the book and CD. It appears on the third song on the "C Medley," which we stitched seamlessly together, using a different guitar on each of the three songs in the medley.

Tonight, I'll be talking “Kalamazoo Gals” live at some point during the 7 to 8 pm segment of “News 4 New York.” I'm told that the program “can be seen on Channel 161 on Time Warner systems in the city” and is “simulcast the show live on NBCNEWYORK.COM.”

It’s actually all media appearances all the time for me today. The NYC NPR program Soundcheck will air an in-depth Kalamazoo Gals story today and I’ll appear on NPR’s Marketplace to talk (and do a bit of picking) about CITES and guitars.

Really pretty burst on yours, mine is much darker. Here's a a pic to compare:

Yes, he is. And Toby's playing style is just perfect for a guitar like this. Congrats again on that new guitar!

I wish I could see the old pix of this guitar. I have a Banner LG-2 that I know went through Schoenbergs at one time. Would love to know if its the same guitar. This thread is OLD but I'd love to find out. Do you still own the guitar? Are there any pix of it? I'm currently reading Johns book as I'm a lover of old Gibsons and have a few. I love all the info on this guitar of ours. Yup long shot but none of the above pictures are viewable.
