Taylor 600? Requesting price info please.
Is anyone familiar with the 2003 Taylor model number 600? I saw one today at the local shop, and I was really impressed with it. Beautiful flame maple back and sides, spruce top, excellent tone. The guy helping me out said he's never seen one like it before. And in all the time I've been spending researching Taylor guitars, I can't remember seeing anything about a model number 600, just the models listed on the Taylor website.

I forgot to mention that I would have searched all of the boards for this, but that dang search feature won't accept words/numbers with less that 4 characters.

Never heard of a 6-0-0, but Taylor makes a whole series of 600's -including the 612, 614 and 610, all in maple. Doesn't mean a model 600 doesn't exist, of course. Any idea what its serial number is or when it was made?

I'm betting it's a 600 SPEC (Summer Special!)
course that don't narrow it down any; it could be a 610, 614 or 654...

After looking at some pictures linked to other posts, I think it is a 600 SPEC too. Thanks for the help folks.

Actually now that we know what it is, can anyone email me about pricing? I'm wondering if the dealer's charging a fair amount or not. My address is [email protected]

It was labeled as 600SPEC, and it was a full dread body, so the 610.

My bad, I just called them about it and it's a Grand Concert size. I was positive it was a full sizer when I was holding onto it.
