Thumbs down

We recently spoke to Bob about the revoicing of the dreads, and asked if they were able to use shaving to accentuate certain frequencies. He said "nope".

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone for your comments and ideas. LMT, I got your e-mail, I'm still ruminating on all you put in it, thanks very much for taking the time to share that info.

I probably should just sell the guitar, what's holding me back is this is a custom-ordered instrument, it even has my name on the sticker in the soundhole, it's the most expensive guitar I own or have ever owned in terms of original cost to me, and I'm unlikely to get out of it anything close to what I put in.

Well, at least I learned one thing from the experience: never custom-order an acoustic guitar. Pick one off the shelf that you can play before you buy.

Thanks again for your thoughts. This is a great forum.
