Default Ben Harper fans?

Any Ben Harper fans? I just saw a show of his recently in my hometown - it was fantastic. He played for over 3 hours straight! Awesome show and fantastic band. He played a Taylor during a slow and quiet song. It was an X14.

I'm not a huge fan, but like some of his tunes.
I saw him w/ Jack last month.
Are you sure he used a Taylor? Both him and Jack usually use guitars by a small company out west.

I saw them at Jones beach, didn't know much about Jack, but really enjoyed his set.

I was wondering what kind of guitar Jack plays, anyone know?

Yeah, it the only Taylor I saw him use. It was definitely a Taylor. The rest of his arsenal I couldn't identify...as you said, they're probably customs. His lap-guitar instrument was very cool...

I always thought Jack Johnson played a Maton, which are made in Australia.

Ben Harper too. Apart from Tommy Emmanuel, these two are probably currently the most recognized Maton artists, although I don't doubt they also play other brands.

I saw Ben Harper and Jack Johnson last month here in Charleston. It was an awesome show , but Jason Mraz stole the show, and he played a Taylor (514c, I think) check out he's web site and watch the video clip. He plays a real nice 914c on one of the videos www.jasonmraz.com ....... paul

Hey muzz - Yeah man, I was there. I was in the "seating" half of the crowd even though I didn't have a seat...that was stupid. Only in Ottawa...

I'm glad Ben joked about it...
