This is drivng me crazy! Last year I spent a ton of money trading in my 514ce for an 814ce. I also bought a custom 855ce. Now with all these improvements (revoiced dreads and jumbos, the new ES system, and even the latches on the cases are improved), what I am supposed to do? Go out and get all new 2003 models!?!

So do we have a final opinion yet? Are the 300 and 400 series jumbos also revoiced? I'm really getting serious TAS now.....

Cut-and-pasted from The Taylor site:

"As of January of 2003, all Dreadnoughts and Jumbos in the 500 Series and up featured revoiced bracing. The overall bracing mass was reduced, and other adjustments were made to increase the soundboard movement, resulting in increased volume and bass response."

Hope this helps
