New Taylor, New Neck?

Thanks for the info. The net is slow tonight so I hope this gets through.

Years ago, I owned a Les Paul. It's headstock had broken from the neck and was reglued. The luthier that worked on the guitar maintained that the neck would be stronger now than original because it was broken and reglued.

I wonder if this is some of the thinking behind what's happening with these necks on my Taylors...??
