Yep, that was my arrangement based on the original. Thanks.

Toby !~!

I'm so happy for you, I really though this guitar would suit you, and your playing styles, perfectly, a great match of a fantastic guitar and fantastic player.

I've had mine 5 months and can't put it down, I don't think Martin makes better, even among the Authentics the 18A just got everything right, and the finish is beautiful.

Congrats my friend, play it in health for 100 years......

First off, boy, that guitar is a looker. I absolutely love that burst color.

Secondly, and I don't need to tell you this, but your playing is superb. Makes me want to practice, like right now.

Excellent marriage of a fine guitar and a fine player. Congrats on your purchase and enjoy it for years to come.

Great playing, Toby, and wonderful guitar! I have one also but mine doesn't seem to sound like yours.

Iv had some bad gas for a 000-18 GE or a OM 18A for a while now, just can't find anything similar to play locally. Taylor seems to run the roost around here so to speak.

I tried to learn the Cannonball once but couldn't handle the Travis-style chords. Any chance, Toby, you'd post tab of your version? (Or sell it?)

Yes, fabulous guitar...magnificently played.

Hi Fred,

Actually it's available as a downloadable lesson. Scroll down about half way and you'll see a pic of Merle.

Woot! I've been working through Thom Bresh's version for ages. Always good to get another perspective. Thanks!
