Default Just scored a Martin OM-18 Authentic

In two years I'll hit 60. Why wait?

Stan Jay at Mandolin Brothers in Staten Island had one in stock, along with a few other similar high end guitars that I knew I wanted to compare this one to. Living 45 minutes from Stan's lair could be considered a dangerous thing but I needed a first hand experience if I was going to shell out the coin.

At any rate, I've posted a video and tons of pictures on my site. Feel free to check this amazing guitar out.

Congrats! Seems to be considered by many one of the very best Martins.

And fantastic playing...

Just checked it out on your website. I'm sure that the guitar is great but your playing is fantastic. Is this your arrangement of Cannonball rag?
Anyway....congratulations.

Now that's a killer guitar. Congrats. I don't think it could have ended up in better hands!

Congrats Toby .... This gives me inspiration to finish writing my song, "A Little GAS Money" ( I need some GAS money honey, so I can play guitar all night long).<VBG>

But you make just about any guitar you pick up sound great!

PS - Never too early to start planning your 60th!
