I'm 32 and noticed the lawn, that's some fine grass! I have too many trees, my lawn looks like a mixture of a little bit of everything.

That's no tumble. That looks like someone got stupid and put their foot through it.

Though, a few bits of scrap and some duct tape and it will be good as new.

It's going quite well on E-Bay...... 4 bids this morning and is at £50. As it's only the sides that are damaged, the top, back and neck etc. are perfect it would look interesting with contrasting woods for the new sides.... walnut, koa anyone?

Ummmmm ... so I clicked on the OP, 'cause I was curious as to why anyone would put a soundport in a 15M, and ...

YIIIIIIKESS!!!!

OK. Thanks to a lot of deep meditation, I'm back in my Happy Place.

(It's a 15, not a 15M. Either way, every bit as tragic.)

(That grass does look astroturfy, no?)

No, dude, the classic inane, useless piece of advice is to say:

"Just get that guitar properly humidified and the problem should correct itself."

If guitar forum group wisdom is to be believed, proper re-humidification is such a powerful cure-all that it can cure cancer, grow hair on bald heads and lead the Chicago Cubs to victory in the World Series!

Quoting the ebay listing;

"The item may have some signs of cosmetic wear, but is fully operational and functions as intended"

I think it already did.

But really , I think the sides have comparatively little bearing on the tone. (Asbestos suit at the ready).

IF I were the guy that needed another project, It would hopefully have most, or all of the splintered bits, glue it, strategically reinforce it inside, as required. and play it.
Frankenstyle, scars and all. Plenty Mojo.

Looks like Astro-turf to me too....

Also, I think the girl-friend did it. Unless it was John Belushi.

I would be interested in purchasing the neck if it is to be totaled for a project I`m doing with a brass resonator guitar body. Maybe i`ll check out the listing.

That pic made me go hug my own 000-15m.. painful to look at.

Looks like a finish crack to me. Unless you're really hung up on cosmetic issues, I'd just leave it alone. It won't get any worse.
