Default Buzz Won't Go Away

Yamaha LLTA. Changed strings twice, and I can't get rid of the buzz. Here's a short video showing the problem. Seems to be coming out near the bridge area. I've reset the ball of the string in the bridge several times but to no avail. Could it be the plastic saddle Yamaha builds with? https://photos.app.goo.gl/GSekqrE9WYDLT1z02

Well.... I am not hearing it. It sounds ok to me but that could just because of the recording. Do you always tune a 1/2 step down?

Don't be fooled by buzzes that 'seem' to come from the bridge area - I had a 'bridge area' buzz on my HD-28V which proved to be nothing of the sort - it was a loose tuner-washer!

Questions - are the new strings a lighter gauge than the old ones? If so, you might need a 1/8 to 1/4 turn to back off the truss-rod and give you a touch more neck-relief. You could try that anyway, just to see what happens.

Have you checked that all the screws and bushings on the tuners are tightened down sufficiently?

Is the saddle getting grooves worn into the crown? Sometimes, a groove can create strange effects in an individual string.

TBH, though, if it was my guitar, I'd take it to a good guitar-tech for a full set-up (relief/nut slots/saddle) and check over. Not expensive, and might save hours of faffing-around and frustration that would be better spent playing a well set-up guitar!

The usual disclaimers apply......IMHO, YMMV etc.

Hadn't noticed that! It could be the reason for the buzz if the answer is "No"! It seems like fret-buzz in the vid.

I don't know whether your guitar even has one, but I had a similar buzz once that turned out to be the battery compartment door.

Could be fret-board. Sounds like it's from the bridge area, but it could be deceiving. I do have electronics and will check the battery compartment when I get back home.

Thank you for the suggestions everyone!

I had a Summer in the late 70's like that. Good times...
