I got this in a local trade. New builder to me ,but seems well done and sounds great. Thanks for taking a look! Joey

Stunning. And how cool that the tree provided the relicing, to save humans the trouble. Enjoy!

He’s known for using local tropical woods, especially Mango. What’s the back? It’s a lovely looking guitar.

Jeffrey makes outstanding modern guitars. Neat to look at as well to hear. Unusual local woods too. At Healdsburg once he took a lot of awards, but usually he doesn't leave Malaysia. He also teaches luthiery. He has a very informative website and has always been very friendly to me. There are not many of his guitars in the US.

Congrats! Great-looking guitar! Luthier Jeffrey Yong from Malaysia, is quite a well known luthier in Asia and South East Asia.

I happen to own a Faith guitar that is made of all-solid Monkeypod. Before I bought the guitar, I read up on Monkeypod (not Monkeypox) and found out about Jeffrey Yong.

Below is the link about him.
