Bolo Me Over & Tie Me Down

A few years ago I discovered this very cool acoustic headstock bolo tie and bought one. I'm by no means a bolo tie guy, merely a guitar nut. Nevertheless, I really fell for this slick sartorial accessory when it arrived.

Almost impossibly good for such a modest price. Works perfectly, better-than-expected quality, plus the machine heads even turn! I always get positive comments from folks when I wear it gigging.

I've also purchased and given away about 10 more since buying mine. They're so fun, fine and inexpensive ($10 CDN!) I've come to love gifting them to several other live acoustic players I dig.

Pretty cool! Bolo ties were the cat's posterior when and where I grew up in northern NM. I got a few of them, some were my dad's.

If it didn't say "Country Music" on it (not that there's anything wrong with classic C&W before 1990) I'd be on it.
