Alternatives to a GA3-12
Stopped by the Tempe Guitar Center yesterday and played a Taylor GA3-12.
I generally don't like "the Taylor sound" but I really liked this one. Been thinking about getting a smaller 12 than my current dreadnaughts. Even though Taylor lists this guitar as having a 16" lower bout it seemed a lot smaller in my lap (the narrow waist?) So anyway, what else should I be looking at that would be simmilar, I know about the Breelove C20 size (though nobody seems to carry Breelove 12's around here) Maybe a Guild F212?

That's one of the great things about the GA, it fits great in your lap and doesn't hurt the shoulder (like dreads sometimes do with me).
Taylor also has a GS 12 string (356ce is one model), which also sits great in your lap. Try one if you can. A little bigger sounding than the GA. I was going to recommend a Larrivee 12 but I see you already have a 12 dread. Have you tried an L 12? |

No, most of the Larrivee Dealers I have ever been to only carry OMs, Dreads, and sometimes parlors. I'll have to drive up to the big Larrivee Dealer in north Phoenix to try one.
