Soundhole pickup for GS8

I want to get a pickup for my GS8, but i am not ready for something permanent. Also, I do not have an acoustic amp and will not be getting one for quite a while. At some point in the future, when I actually have a nice disoposable income I will get a good pickup system. But for now I am thinking soundhole (unless K&K's work okay with electric amps?)

I am going off to college next year and need a way to amplify my beloved instrument, but I don't want something too cheap. At the moment I am thinking LR Baggs M1 active, or rare earth humbucking pickup.

Any suggestions for something similar around $150 or so? Thanks in advance
