Default NGD Sigma SGJA-SG200

I bought this from Reverb, used Sigma guitar. Solid sitka top, solid maple back and sides. Grover tuners. Ebony fingerboard. I am quite impressed and I think its good to sing with. Great value 1350e.

Wow! Just the ebony appointments alone, sway me into preferring that Sigma, over a genuine J-200! What a nice looking box, and a real bargain, too!

Congratulations! I love this guitar, it’s next on my Sigma want list. I have three top of their line guitars (see signature) but they are all Martin style guitars. I like the fact that their J-200 is 1-3/4 as well.

NGD Sigma SGJA-SG200

Congrats.

I got a used laminate b&s Sigma J-200 clone a couple of years ago, and I find it very easy to play and also sounds great too.

I also have a solid rosewood b&s Gibson J-200 Jumbo. Overall it is a far better instrument, but I really like the Sigma's 1+3/4" nut/neck width versus the Gibson's 1+11/16" nut/neck width. And I like the thicker Sigma neck shape too.

I fingerpick all my guitars using my nails as picks.

Be well and play well,

Don

Now after two weeks, I think this is the best guitar I have ever owned. Worth every penny.

Looks nice.

I have a Sigma DR28V which works pretty well. I put a K&K in it along with a DeArmond sound hole magnetic pick up. Use it for open mics and such.

Im not surprised, the all solid Sigma’s are terrific, I’m gonna add to my three in the future and a j-200 Is high on list but do I go maple, rosewood or koa…mmm tough one. I’m leaning towards a natural in koa and one identical to yours.

The current Sigma line is intriguing, and this one is particularly nice. Enjoy!

Where does one go to checkout and purchase? Instore or online ? I know the Sigma name has been used on a few different lines of guitars from different companies.
