That's a beautiful top and all around as well. Bet it sounds great. Congrats and enjoy!

That's a real beauty, it has a vibe of simple elegance.

Short scale?

Here is a sound clip I did. My room is very reflective so it may sound a little boxy.

Some basic strumming and basic finger style.

Thanks.

Bob, what a beautiful looking and recording guitar and your new Taylor Custom reinforces for me why I've come to love the brand--Enjoy!

LOL... what are they selling it for?

Did you play that 717e builders edition?

I was tempted to get that one instead of the custom, but I wanted one with no electronics.

Thank you. I always wanted a Taylor without the ES, and this one just happened to pop up on my radar.

I see you have a few Taylors as well.

I think $1100? I don’t remember. Light as a feather though and sounded great. I actually almost bought back the AD17E I traded in to them for my AD27! It’s still there and it sounds great.

I never try out the Authentics, pricy Taylors, and the expensive stuff… I won’t buy them so I feel it’s kinda wrong, or at least unwise?

Great shop. Great guys run it. Easy to deal with. If they make money off of me I’m only sorry it’s not more. I want to be able to go to that shop for years, so I want them to thrive.

Does your AD27 have electronics in it?

As of late I prefer my acoustics without electronics. That's why this Taylor was a great find.

If I go to an open mic and have to plug in, I'll just bring my Strat.
