Standard answer from me is Curt Mangan. I've used pretty much all the usual string brands. Curt Mangan beats them all to my ears for tone, volume, sustain and longevity.

D'Addario XS PB 12s for me but i admittedly like coated strings - used to use Elixir nanoweb PB 12s but the XS strings don't shed as much and seem to last a tad longer.

I'll give another vote on the D'Addario Nickel Bronze. Like 80/20's I think these also give an extra bump in clarity. I tried both "Balanced Tension" and "regular"...I preferred regular but we all hear and play differently. High quality strings though.

Hope this helps.

As with Wade, I use 80/20 bronze strings on my rosewood OM--a Collings OM2G--precisely for the reasons Wade states. But, for more clarity, I use D'Addarios (though I use the John Pearse 80/20s on my mahogany Collings OM1A).

I used to use JP 80/20 but have recently moved to roundcore strings by Newtone (UK) the 12 gauge are nice. There is an extra snap on the wound strings. It sounds like an overtone and im not completely sure i like it. They feel pretty smooth and expressive. Great for finger picking but i do notice that rocknroll or heavy blues single notes do not fare as well.
I might decide to use the lightly braced 00028 for fingerpicking only and keep the Newtone strings on it. Pity because i use that guitar w a K&K a lot on gigs. Nice when its quiet but then the room fills..

The Santa Cruz strings are wonderful on my M36.
