Default NGD: Martin GPCPA4 Rosewood

Hello all, I've been doing a little bit of lurking around on this forum for a while but I finally got a new guitar last night. My parents got it for me as a high school graduation present and wow is this thing impressive! It's a upgrade from my Blueridge BR-40. It was a close match between this and the 314ce but I kept coming back to this one and I'm perfectly satisfied with it!

I'mean not what you'd call a beginner at guitar but I'm FAR away from a professionalso, any tips you guys have for me would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Congrats!

I keep eyeing that same model and a couple others very similar.

So, what kind of music do you play and what made you choose acoustic vs electric.

I play (attempt) a lot of Ben Howard and Mumford and Sons, I think their music is fantastic! I usually fingerpick over strum, too.
I didn't get an electric because I already have a Gibson Les Paul Studio that I got back in 2012, I play it sometimes but I mostly played my Blueridge so when it was time to get another guitar I figured I might as well get a nicer acoustic than what I've got now!

Ben Howard and Mumford & Sons... Hard stuff to play unaccompanied. Go for it!
