Default New JBL PA System - IRX One

Interesting new product from JBL, I hope they update the app soon. This could be a nice option for some musicians:

To sure there will be an app.
IRX < EON < PRX

I think the main difference between IRX and EON will be the app

Maybe no app but cheaper price?

I’m not sure why anyone would get this over the EON ONE MK2…

Interesting choice of model name, as the completely dissimilar Friedman IR-X has just also been released. The greatest irony to me could be if I end up buying them both; same model names, different companies, and totally different uses.

looks like a budget column system for small to medium sized gigs. But for a few hundred more you can get a EV30M. (6) 2" speakers and an 8" sub is almost identical to the 30Ms layout...except the 30M has 2.5" speakers. I didn't see anything in the specs about volume or wattage or weight??

Has anyone come across one of these yet? 15.5kg with a reasonable power output.

One is hyphenated, one isn't.

I don't know if I'd trust the handle on that thing...

Looks like the previous JBL Eon One Pro that I bought for $1,300 which was a DISASTER: weak preamps on all channels, battery that got hot to the touch, many people reported battery issues. JBL did not back up this product.
Notice warranty is 3 years vs 7 years for their Eon line.
Stay away, no App. EV30 is leagues beyond!

Looks like the Eon One Pro I just sold. It appears to missing the reverb and two of the full preamp channels.

Maximum 118 DB, 500 watts, 28 pounds. (Yikes!)
