Default 324ce BE gets some Martin Retro's

I wasn't sure what to expect putting these strings on the Taylor and I know they usually take a bit to settle in. Well, right off the bat (for my tastes) these strings sound fantastic on this guitar. Really a total surprise. The Taylor does have a mahogany top, which seems to follow the rule that it should work well with the Retros. It will be interesting to see how they work long term. Anyone else using these strings on a Taylor ?

Martin Retros on my 2013 Taylor 416ce (sitka - ovangkol) are a perfect marriage. I have tried the Mangan round core monel strings on that guitar and prefer the Martin monels.
