Buy used.

Stay away from the new "V" Class bracing. The old X Bracing (still std on 200 series and 100 series) sounds much better.

Best Buy: Pre 2007 214. These are all solid wood, no laminates. Also, find one with no electronics and then put in a K&K pup. The plugged in sound will be FAR superior to any Taylor system.
