Default 2008 Goodall Traditional Dreadnought Cutaway - Cocobolo/Master Bear Claw Sitka

Serial #TCDC 5732. Build completion date: 9/4/08.
14 fret Dreadnought size Flattop Guitar.
15 7/8” wide lower bout. 4 3/4" deep at end pin.
Solid Master Grade “Bear Claw” Sitka Spruce top with wood herringbone rosette and purflings.
Solid AAA Grade Cocobolo sides and two-piece back with Chevron marquetry back strip.
Bent cutaway.
Gloss finish on body.
Mahogany satin finish one-piece neck.
Ebony fingerboard with Mother of Pearl notched square inlays.
1.75" nut width / 25.5" scale length / 2.25" string spacing at saddle.
Ebony bridge.
Boxwood bridge pins and end pin, all with Mother of Pearl dots.
Bone nut and saddle.
Cocobolo peghead veneer with inlaid Blacklip Mother of Pearl “G” logo.
White maple binding on body and peghead.
Ebony binding on fingerboard.
Tortis pickguard.
Waverly nickel tuners with Ebony buttons.
Hardshell Ameritage Humidity Control case.

This Goodall was built at the end of the Hawaii shop run, shortly before the Goodalls moved back to California. I am the original owner, and both the guitar and the case are in truly outstanding condition. Only a few very light marks on the pickguard and peghead veneer prevent the guitar from being in new condition. There are no dings or scratches on the body, or fret wear of any kind. Playability is excellent, with action height currently at 6/64" and 4/64" at the low E and high E strings, respectively, at the 12th fret. All of the original "case candy" is included too.

I have too many guitars and not enough time to play them all, and I don't need a cutaway anymore. The guitar sounds full and loud, and it has a lot of projection and punch in the mid-range.

If ordered today with these specifications and wood selections, this guitar would have a $14,500 list price and a $13,050 street price with the allowable dealer discount.

Asking $5900 shipped in the continental USA only.

Please respond directly to my email with questions or to request a full price breakdown and a current Goodall Price list: [email protected]

I have a short sound clip available too by email request.

Thanks for looking!

Sorry for the grass blade reflections in the pictures of the back of the guitar.

Did I ever play this one Larry? Man this guitar looks so familiar. Maybe it's the bearclaw that I remember.

Yes, Brendon, I think you did - - when you were auditioning the Brazilian OM. This one has some striking woods and a lot going on tonally.
