I've had a 752ce for 4 years now. It's Lutz(western burst) over IRW, so I can't compare tone to that spruce over maple, but I did play a 562ce (and a 362ce). It was nice, but I chose the 752ce over it. The idea behind these 12-strings is being 12-fret, short scale and smaller body size makes them among the easiest playing 12 strings around while still providing a very satisfying tone that's "delightful" as you say. They're not piano-like as Guild big body 12-strings, but I thought, and it is a 12 string I'd PLAY & ENJOY. It's one of the few 12-strings I envisioned holding onto for many years. You played the 652ce & loved it. If you can swing the price -IMO- get it over guitars you haven't played. The tonewoods used made a real diff to my ears. Good luck! Hope you show us a NGD soon.

For a 12 string I'd go with the cheaper of the two. I can't see spending a month's salary on something that doesn't get regular play. That's why I keep looking at the 254ce.
