Right now, (after Mando Bob has just left - almost every room apart from the kitchen, bathroom and my wife's "boudoir" (heheh).

Our house is a modest 3 bedroom detached and our ground floor is open plan, so there is one guitar on a shelf (My lovely '60s Harmony Monterey) and often two guitars in cases (a dread and my 12) under the stairwell.

As I'm not playing out at present, I also have a couple lying around to "invite me 2 to keep playing.

There are four hangers in my office/cell (smallest bedroom) and five guitars in cases are in a shelf over the stairs (great idea of mine). and some in a closet (?) in our bedroom.

I usually have a guitar in three rooms.

Our upstairs bonus room is my main instrument storage space. Kind of a utility space - music room and media room. I have a downstairs study and there is usually a guitar there (and my pick-n-gliders are there too). usually one in the family room where my wife and I watch TV in the evening sometimes.

Usually one sitting out in the "hobby room" which exits to the garage, in case I want to play as I'm coming or going.

I keep one out in the living room, which leads to the porch and the pool.

I keep another out upstairs in the TV room, but I don't play it that much.

I keep one in its case ready to go to gigs.

If I have the urge to play anywhere else on the grounds I ring a bell and my butler will bring me the appropriate guitar for that area of the estate.

Four rooms. Four guitars hanging in Hercules hangers on the living room wall, two hanging in Hercules hangers in the TV room / den, one hanging in my home office (plus Dad's mandolin), one hanging in the guest room (and a closet full in their cases). Oh wait -- it's five rooms. My wife has her pink Little Martin and her pink Kala ukulele hanging in her sewing room. You guessed it -- on Hercules hangers.

Most in cases in the studio unless being used for, or prepped for, recording. If I'm working on something specific one out in the living room.

I have 2 in the living room, 1 in the office (3/4 size), 3 in the studio and 2 at my daughter's house. I need 1 more for the bedroom.

One in a stand in the living room. The other dozen or so in their cases, scattered throughout the house, wherever there is a handy spot with easy access.

Hanging in two rooms, formerly known as the living and dining room, now referred to as the guitar room and the keyboard room ('cause there is also a piano and two keyboards). Life is good!

It could. A carbon fiber guitar could be kept in a bathroom, no problem. Play while on the throne, play a non-pickup version in the shower, then move into the pool. Great tones...and no limits.

No guitars in my bathrooms or kitchen. It's a small house without a lot of storage so there are guitars (and amps) scattered throughout the other rooms. There are two guitars that live on the couch in my living room and one that lives in an armchair next to my favorite TV chair arm's reach away. I have to put them in the bedroom to free up seating when people come over to visit

Mine are mostly in their cases in the guest room closet. I occasionally keep one on a stand for short periods downstairs when I'm playing a lot and my baby isn't nearby.
