Default NGD Martin Super D

Well I paid off my layaway yesterday and brought home a like new/very, very gently used Martin Super D. It ticks off all the boxes I’ve had yearning for a D-35 and then some! A beautiful work in Guatemalan Rosewood and Spruce.

I have only had an opportunity to play one Super D. I was a cool guitar. Congratulations.

Congratulations. I have been dying to test drive the Super D but there are no custom Martin dealers near me.

My band mate has a Super D.
It is his loudest Martin out of 8 or so others.
The physical size is deceiving though.
It doesn't look larger than a Dread until you hold it up next to a Dread.

I'm impressed with it's tone.

His is also Rosewood.

One of the sonically best new Martin’s out there! Outstanding for fingerstyle as well. Congratulations, would love to see some pics.

I have been looking at those on Wildwood’s web site. They have some nice Koa and Rosewood examples. The had them marked down to $3999 a few days back when I last looked at them.

Congrats! Watched a video on the Super D. That thing is a cannon! They compared it to the sound of a D-28...and it made the D-28 sound small.

Congratulations TRAVISPIMA. I purchased the exact same model yesterday.
Incredible guitar. I played it for half an hour and couldn't get it out of my head.
Went back a week later with my wife. She was as enthralled by it as I was, and
convinced me that it had to come home with us. For me, it is the best sounding
acoustic guitar that I've ever had the joy of playing.
