Default CA Tuning peg

No, they are not indestructible - I had my CA GX in a gig bag and rested it against a wall while I was taking off my jacket, and it fell over. I thought, "Meh, it'll be alright, its CF." Well when I got back home and opened up the case, the guitar was alright but one of the tuner buttons has smashed. As you can see, I managed to get an emergency replacement done but now I would like to get a proper replacement. I've been looking online and for the life on me cannot find out what exactly it is - no specs list the exact type as far as I can see. Its a pre-peavey CA GX, the tuners are Gotoh but can't find anything specific. My local guitar parts store doesn't sell individual buttons or even tuners. Online there are some that look close but can't tell for sure. They are relatively cheap but as I'm in Australia the shipping is often 10x more than the item and can take weeks to arrive. I don't mind if it is the correct item but a pain if it isn't. Anyway, any ideas?

On my pre-Peavey Cargo, the tuners are GOTOH mini 510s. It was some time later that CA started using something called Hipshot tuners. That was probably a cost-cutting measure.

Hope that helps,

Tony

If it’s Gotoh, you can pretty much get anything from www.japarts.ca

Thanks, I've sent off an email to see if I can get a single button.
