Which rosewood?
http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2620/...85fd7750_s.jpg Beginning luthier sold this with limited information. The back and sides look very nice to me, never saw rosewood that handsome in the retail store. Any one guess if it is Indian, or which? -------------- Checking my preview, Flickr is no good here, see my photos in the gallery under Handbuilt and unique. Larger photos would help identify the wood.

Sorry Flickr doesnt work even connecting to the site.
But people do you know that if you look in the gallery, the photos can enlarge with a click to a fine view of the guitar? You do know that this forum has a gallery. Looks like Indian to me. The grain and color are typical EIR.

Here is a link to the photoset. I would put my money on East Indian, as well. |

Thanks, all, for the interest. The mass products in stores have such high gloss, and narrow ribbon striping, where this is a lovely low gloss and obvious pattern.
