Just today received a response from CA regarding the date my OX was made: 01/18/2016. I hope the delay is due to how successful and busy they are making great guitars!

That seems to fit with the scheme in SpruceTop's post (#13). Glad they answered you. And it's a nice thought that the delay is because they are so busy building CA guitars back in Peaveyland.

Sometimes I wish that manufacturers would use less convoluted serial numbering systems, but I'm sure there are multiple reasons for it.

If I read it right GXi serial number of GXi210013-7 means that it was manufactured in 2010.
