Sounds great as with the recent fantastic Simon and Lightfoot interpretations which either stood comparison with or might have bettered the originals.

Until tonight, I had never heard of Darrrell Scott before but, having looked at the link, the guy seems to have an incredibly high level of control over the instrument. I noticed that circular thing he does over the strings - actually works, not just for show.

Hi Owen,

Thanks for listening Owen. Darrell Scott is both an incredible guitar player and an incredible singer. It's always a privilege to do his music.

Thanks,
Glenn

In addition to his talent and dedication to the guitar, Glenn is one of the most generous people on this forum. Thanks, Glenn, for sharing your music with all of us. I am currently stealing your arrangements of The Highwayman and Vincent. Stellar.

Default Very Nice!

I love this song and have searched for a tab unsuccessfully. I don't have the chops yet to figure it out - but I know it will come in time. Your version is great Glenn! Congrats!!!

Hi Skydog!

Thanks so much for watching and commenting! I can see why you love this song -- I do, too! And thank you for your vote of confidence on how I played this great song.

I see that with only 2 posts to your forum name that you must be new to the AGF! I would just like to say WELCOME! and I hope you enjoy it here!

Regarding learning this song, I did do a tutorial, a lesson, on how to play this song HERE. If you left mouse click on the HERE hyperlink, it will take you to the song on YouTube. I don't know if my approach to teaching might be helpful to you, but it might be worth a try to check this tutorial out.

Thanks so much for your comments!

- Glenn
