Default 1991 Martin 000-16gt

Hey guys, there is a Martin 000-16gt in my local craigslist. I did some research and found that these models were made with higher quality woods, ebony fretboards, and 1 piece necks. Is this true? Is this a good deal then? Thanks

I'd ask for a serial # and a picture of the neck block. This guitar doesn't appear to be a 1991. I've had a couple of the early 16's and it should have a center strip and would not have a paper label. Also the raised gold foil label did not appear until late '94 or '95.

This looks to be a later m&t model and not dovetail. It appears they don't know what they have. The early ones are great guitars and quite a bargain.

Here are some photos of the 1994 000-16C that I had last year. You can see the differences.
