I know y'all will let out a good belly laugh, but I've been "scheming" on getting back to one steel string since I received the Goodall a couple months back.

paying off a small credit card bill, and sticking the rest in the bank for now.

One great steel and one great nylon....I oughta be able to make plenty of music.

Just add a 12 string and you're all set.

Well, I don't feel too sorry for you with a Goodall in your closet!

Get to know those two guitars backward and forward, really really well. And focus on developing your playing, rather than having GAS. Easy for me to say, not always easy for me to do though!

Though I have lust in my heart for about 6 more guitars that I considered buying this past summer when I was shopping intensely for my first good steel string guitar, the two I got (Martin 000-15, and a lovely cedar/rosewood Goodall concert jumbo) are really more than enough to keep me really really busy.

And meanwhile my lovely classical guitar that was a constant companion for over 4 years is sitting in its case neglected.

And even worse.... since I got really into guitars the past 6 or so years, my beloved 5-string banjo that was my constant and nearly exclusive musical partner for several decades has been in its case sulking over my adulterous relationships with my guitars.

(and I won't even get into what the mandolin must be thinking about all of this!)

Honestly, despite a bad case of persistent GAS, I have more good quality instruments than I have time for. I think it is important to work intensely with a particular instrument if you want to get the most out of it, and I don't have enough hours in my week to devote much time to more than one or two of them. I'm not sure what I would do if I actually had all the lovely guitars that I have been having GAS over.

I think your collection of two really fine guitars sounds just right!
