Default 14 Fret with 1-7/8 nut

Do you know of any mass pro guitars that have 14 frets clear to the body with a 1-7/8 nut? (Resonators excluded)

Hi Mercy...

A nut on a Seagull 12 string may be. But the 1.8" nut found on a Seagull 6 string is spaced exactly like a standard 1¾" nut. I've owned and carefully measured and compared them with my other guitars with 1¾" nuts.

I think you can order most Taylors with that neck for a slight upcharge.

Likely - back around 88-90 Taylor had an overstock of 12 string neck blanks and were building quite a few GC's or X12's back then with 1 7/8, but I don't think that trend lasted until the mid 90's when Pete's guitar was built.

My Taylor GS7 custom has a 1 7/8 nut... Which someone had ordered that way.. I love the extra room for fingerstyle work. I think it is a common option with Taylor... Don't remember how much the up charge is.

Takamine offers a beautiful 14-fret slot head in cedar/rosewood with a 1 7/8" nut.
