Acoustic - Bernie Leadon, John Jorgenson
Electric - Bernie Leadon, John Jorgenson
Mandolin - Bernie Leadon, John Jorgenson
Harmony Vocals - Bernie Leadon, John Jorgenson

Don Henley once said that Bernie was the guy who taught the Eagles to sing harmony.

Both Bernie & John - incredibly versatile. Did I mention I really like both of these guys?

I always enjoy threads like this - reminds me of some of my favs that I haven't listened to for a while, and gives me new names to check out.

Lots of cheaters though! I'll stick to 3 in each category:

Acoustic: Tommy E, Michael Hedges, Leo Kottke

Electric: SRV, Jimmy Page, Jack White

Oh cripes! Do I really have to list ALL of them since Charlie Christian and Django Reinhardt?
I mean, B. B King can play one note and everybody in the joint will fall out, screaming!
There's really too many GREAT guitar players for me to go into them all here... and I would probably forget to mention a lot of them.
Who's your favorite jazz trumpeter? Your favorite tenor sax player? Who's your favorite pianist? Who's your favorite drummer?
GREAT musicians all seemed to be possessed of a level of talent that enables them to do something that nobody else can do.

For the electric, you need to see the documentary "It Might Get Loud"
