Question about Taylor Acoustic Guitars
Today I played some Taylor guitars and Wow! As a Martin dread aficionado for many years I have to say I became smitten immediately by the beautiful tone they produced as I strummed them. I know that some models use laminate back & sides, and the ones I played were pretty awesome. My question is, are all Taylor acoustics solid top or is laminate used on the lower-end models?

As far as I know, all their tops are solid.
Even the 100-series, GS-mini, etc. |

All solid tops, laminate back and sides on the current 100, 200 and minis.

I'll add that the 300 series on up are all solid wood. |

I am kind of in the same boat. After years of Martin dreads, I have picked up two used Taylors that I really like.
My Taylor DN3 is now my favourite flat top. I like it so much I sold of a D18 I wasn't playing anymore.

Wow, I sold my dn3 for a 2013 d18. Man I really miss it. Taylor dreads are pretty awesome pieces, my 910 is so clear and very articulate.
