Default Help adjusting trust rod on new guitar

I got a Fender Newport California classic and the trust rod hole seems to be empty. Is the nut really far down? Also what size wrench do I need for this? Thanks

Can't really help you with this one other to point out that your guitar is a "Fender Newporter California Classic" and it's a "truss rod". I mean you can trust Rod but that depends on which Rod we're talking about. Personally I always felt Mr. Stewart to be somewhat trustworthy.

I hope that helps those that actually can help to find this thread and provide the answer you're looking for. Good luck!

Your Fender Newporter California Classic should have the standard Fender 1/8" Hex truss rod. However, to make sure - contact Fender Customer Service and they will let you know. Congrats on the new guitar.
