Default I have a problem...

So I go into the worst Taylor dealer in the world......

worse then guitar center........(yes it happens, there oughtta be a LAW!)

and I pickup an ANCIENT 610 (96)...which is brand new...
strum.....
cool! not bad. it's so old it's opened up.
Pickup a brand new 615ce....
wow.....could own this baby....
Pickup an '02 514ce.....
OH NO.
not this. I own two Taylors.
I'm impervious to this.
That SOUND I was looking for........
the looks......the action.....
is there a 12 step program for this?
HELP!
TAS!

he might trade me for my 810....but...but...
I don't wanna deal with him. it's like loving a girl who's gotta nasty dad. in laws.
Why me?

Thumbs up

When I'm blue..... I pick up the 514..
As life feels too fast..... I pick up the 514..
When I want to feel the soul of my music...... I pick up the 514..
If I wake up in the wee hours and can't go back to sleep....I pick up the 514...

You have been touched by it's magic... "Resistance is futile"
And..BUY THE VERY ONE THAT DID THAT TO YOU..... even if it is from a dealer that does not warm your heart.... THAT guitar did...
Hey, what's a couple of bucks extra to let THAT guitar feed your soul for a lifetime... Besides,,, you deserve it..
It's the wee hours now, I have to go get my 514....

Guess I was lucky that I started my Taylor love affair with my 514ce. It beat out an entire two story house full of guitars (literally!) to become mine!

Not that I'm immune, though...I played my first w14ce the other day...sweet!

Then again, it seems every Taylor I've picked up gives me that desire to clean out the bank account...ARGH!...HELP!...I ADMIT IT!...I'M ADDICTED!!!

Wink

I think Taylor infuses some kind of pheremone derivative in the wood that only works on guitar players.....

God bless us every one!

Offwigo hit the nail the head. His "Taylor-times" pretty much cover the spectrum of when I like to play my Taylors. Relax and enjoy the ride. Anj, it's a Taylor owners destiny. Feel sorry for those who never experience the bliss.

Plus you'd be giving it a good home and getting it away from that nasty man!

I know I know......

I'm doomed. I DO feel sorry for those who don't share the love of guitars...specifically Taylors.
But I don't think I'll end up with that particular 514...
see, I bought my 810 at Buffalo Bros, and well
I think you all know about their upgrade policy.
This other guy wants me to hand him $$$ that I DON'T HAVE
as well as the trade.
hmmm...
maybe I'll sell my SSN on the black market....
