Furch D20CM 12 string
I got this 2nd hand around 18 months ago, and have kept it tuned down a step. tuned to open D, D minor or DADGAD. I'm disappointed with the sound and am considering tuning it to concert pitch. Do you think the guitar would be ok in concert pitch or would the extra pressure damage it?

It it has their new compound neck reinforcement it will be fine. To be honest, if it’s the previous neck design it should also be fine, they are very well made and the D 12 strings are made for regular tunings. I love the sound of mine but it is the CNR neck…

Stay with 10-47 gauge strings - if you want a warmer sound try some Thomastik-Infeld Plectrums or GHS Silk & Bronze.
