If you're reading this, you probably know about Tom Doerr's work already.

I have been lucky to own two Doerrs, and both are exceptional IMO . I recently received a custom build from Bruce Sexauer, and I could only justify that indulgence by selling off some other great guitars.

This guitar was built after Tom had taken Ervin Somogyi's voicing class. Tom was constantly experimenting and improving his work, and I think this period was where he really got to a world class level that can hang with anything out there for fingerstyle.

EDIT: I know Doerrs are rare, and few people have had the opportunity to play one. If you do some research in past threads here, you will find that a number of AGF members who have played a lot of high end guitars consider Tom's work to be in the upper echelon of single luthier built fingerstyle oriented guitars.

I would like this guitar to find a good home with someone who really vibes with it. If you are interested and have a good track record on AGF, I am happy to offer a trial period with no obligation, other than reimbursing me for actual shipping costs if it doesn't work out. I would prefer this guitar to go to a fellow AGF member without dealer markup and taxes, but at some point I will send it to a dealer for consignment if I don't get a decent offer here.
