Low buzz on fretted note on Low E string - trying to troubleshoot
Last night I was doing some woodshed work on my OM1AH playing fretted notes on the low E string. When I played the C note on the 8th fret, I got a low buzz/vibration coming out of the guitar. If I go down to the B note on the 7th fret or up to the C# on the 9th fret, the buzz/vibration is not there when I pick either note. I had a similar experience on my Taylor 812ce on the same string and fret except the note sounded slightly muted/muffled instead of getting the low buzz noise.
The reality is in my playing it's not really an issue since I hardly ever play that note in my current song inventory but it does bother me that it's there. This guitar has no pickup installed. Any ideas on what is causing it? The first thing I'll try is loosening the string and re-seating the bridge pin. Thanks! Bob

The first place to start when locating a buzz that wasnt there before, yeah, reseat the strings.
People pay a lot of money to get their bridge and bridgeplates to vibrate - |
