Here is a link to a terrific song that was beautifully performed.
Ahh, to be able to step up and give such a wonderful performance with even half as much ease and grace as this lovely artist does here :http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6fM_jnS-MjY

Nice rendition! I remember Judy Collins singing this song way back about 1969, and I always loved it. Thanks for that.

That video is 8 years old, and Suzy has become quite well known since then... she has such a "Dove soap commercial" beauty in this video. (for a short time I dated one of the Dove soap girls... very pleasing personality and a real beauty)

Ah yes. A beautiful song written by a western Canadian singer songwriter, Ian Tyson.

Beautiful and pure voice. And clearly she has had professional training of it. Her command is perfect. I don't hear any nasality.
The song itself is just OK for me. Maybe I didn't listen carefully enough but it sounded like most country western songs. Doesn't mean bad just nothing special to me. Her voice made it somewhat special though. |

I saw her live a few years back. It was on the summer tour of Prairie Home Companion. A very sweet singer.

The rimshots are kind of annoying, but it's a lovely performance otherwise.

I remember listening to the Judy Collins version during my freshman year of college in Colorado (CSU) in 1966-67. That's the version I prefer but this lady can indeed sing.

That Particular Judy Collins recording, "Who Knows Where the Time Goes," is one of those recordings that my older sisters brought into the house (I was in middle school), and it had this great effect on me - along with the early Joni Mitchell. 'Hello, Hooray", "Story of Issac" "Bird on a Wire" and more introduced me to many excellent songwriters of the day (Denny, Dylan, Cohen, Tyson, etc.)
