Grounding Issue - Quick Fix?
Hey all,
I've just got a grounding problem and was wondering if there's any possible quick fix for it. When I plug the acoustic into any PA/amp, it gives off a humming/buzzing sound which disappears as soon as I touch the lead going into the input jack. Are there any quick fixes or will the electronics need to be pulled apart? I'm certain it's not the amp/pa as I've tried in several locations, and doesn't happen with my other guitars. Cheers reags

Would a "ground lift" help in this case?

Thanks Bill I'll have to give an actual DI box a go - I tried a similar solution by using my K&K preamp and flicking the phase button which i thought was a ground lift but that didn't work obviously, so DI box here I come. Fingers crossed!
