Following a freak accident with a pane of glass, I just experienced a full recovery from a tibial tendon reconstruction.
I will be forever grateful to all organ and tissue donors!

My son and his wife and kids came to visit in NY a few weeks ago. It was the first time I've seen them since before Covid. We went to the Upstate house and had a great time.

They're coming back in May.

Some great positive things happening out there! For me, I made it through 3 weeks of intense GAS without purchasing a new/used guitar although it's been tough. : )

A father of a toddler asked me when his daughter would do what he told her. I answered, about 22. He replied, that's not too bad. Then I said years, 22 years. You should have seen the look on his face.

My youngest granddaughter is turning two next month. Going down to LA to the birthday party.

On a personal note, my youngest daughter is finishing the first part of her educational journey next month with an Associates degree in Biology (perfect 4.0, President's List). She has been accepted into the Bachelor's program for a larger school and has received a partial scholarship for two years. My oldest daughter is a year away from graduating with a Bachelor's in education. Lots to be thankful for there!

On a guitar note, my new Epi IBG SJ200 arrived yesterday and I'm quite happy with it!

Now, if I just had a nice pick to use with it...

Today, like each day since December 19, 1988, I will not drink or use any drugs not prescribed to me.

Isn't it the most amazing thing? We just had our second grandchild. I have never known greater unconditional love.

Blessings to you and yours,

Scott M.

My Uncle just dug up an old film reel from 1959 (and digitized the footage). It's great to see the footage from my mother's 7th birthday, and great to see my Grandparents in their mid 30's with young children. My grand parents both passed away about 30 years ago, and we don't have too much video footage of either of them. So this old film reel has been a joy to watch.

Well, in general, just being alive is quite good news for me... there was a period, 3 years ago, when I wasn't sure I was gonna make it! EVERY day since then, I've woken in the morning and thought about how much I appreciate being alive!

On a more immediate note: for 8 months or so, I've had an issue with my right shoulder being kind of wonky... not even sure what I did to hurt it, but, with exercises from a physical therapist followed diligently, I feel MUCH improved, and can begin to do more exercise, overall!

Ain't life Grand? And I'm turning 73 this Sunday, too!

Hi, Everyone. These are all very inspiring stories. I will let this go one more day, then do the drawing. I have to babysit my grandson today, world's cutest kid.

More stories, please.
