I've also ditched using a board; I'm using a Felix for both vocals and guitar and sending the signals out to the K8; vocals out at mic level, guitar out at line level. I'll probably blend the signals and send one out once I upgrade to the Felix 2. The reason I'm not currently doing so is that I have reverb+delay, compression, and a looper in the effects loop for guitar.

Currently debating how to configure a pedalboard to handle the above; also likely moving from a Ditto x2 to an RC-500. Using an ETL Edwina for vocals; I like it just fine, will probably keep that for now.

Anyway, here's the old setup:

That’s sounds fantastic. I love the vocals.

When I play solo, I don't use the little monitor. I just move the LD Maui system behind me a bit. But with my partner, I need to use the monitor because he doesn't want to hear the main system mix. He has only his vocal in his monitor.
Sounds great. As said earlier. The sound balance is perfect between guitar and vocals. Really good job.

May have to take a look at an Edwina. How is it for feedback in your setup?

Thank you for the kind words all, I really appreciate it! (Didn't want to leave anybody out, hence the big quote pile).

Greyhound, the Edwina is excellent at feedback rejection--I have honestly forgotten that it's a condenser mic; I just don't even really worry about it anymore. If you look at its frequency response, it's essentially tuned like a dynamic mic (there's a pretty strong dropoff after 10kHz) and I think that's the secret sauce. Granted, all of the above applies to using it as a vocal mic; I can't speak to the single-source setup (I don't play guitar loud enough to make it feasible unfortunately).

Medford--you totally should! I'm far from a jazz musician but so many of those standards are just perfect songs in their own right, they practically play themselves!

You guys have a great vocal blend and the mix is really well balanced. I have a feeling you guys would crush "Mr. Tambourine Man"! 😊

Bose L1 Pro32 with Sub 2 & T1 mixer. Martin OM-28V with Trance Audio Amulet M, Radial PZ Deluxe, Digitech JamMan looper. My bandmate (duo-mate?) plays a Martin 000-16RGT with the Amulet M, Radial PZ Deluxe, Boss delay & space station amp. He also plays an old lap steel into a Mesa/Boogie DC5 or Express 550 sometimes).

That looks good! I have the older L1 too, but these new versions aren’t sturdy enough to hang anything from securely. :/ Had to buy a sub pole.

Default It's the plan...

Although I haven't done it yet, this is my simple plan for my acoustic shows. It's a Marshall AS100D, with a tuner and signal pad, my Ovation Tangents, and a Shure SM58.

All I need now, is to learn to play.

The last one I posted was from a venue with a house PA so I line out from my Fishman Artist into their FOH board. Saturday I played a bit larger (and noisier) venue that doesn't have a house PA, so I brought my Evolve 30m.
